VIEW AIR QUALITY HERE
GWSC will follow the Wenatchee School District policy in regards to air quality. We will continue to practice and play games if air quality is Good (GREEN), Moderate (YELLOW), or Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (ORANGE). All play will be CANCELLED if air quality is Unhealthy (RED).
As Always, every parent should make the best decision for their child. If there are children sensitive to air quality we ask all coaches to be respectiful to each parents decision for their child.
*If air quality reads RED (Unhealthy) 2 hours prior to game time (in the location of the game) , the game will be cancelled. This is to prevent all parties from waiting around on pins and needles to see if the game is happening.
THUNDER AND LIGHTNING PROTOCOL
When Thunder is heard or lightning is seen:
1. Play is stopped imediately. Everyone off the field, go to a safe area
2. Play can resume 30 Minutes after last thunder or lightning
The game will be cancelled if there would not be enough daylight time left to complete the game after a 30 minute wait.
Rain will not cancel play. Coaches may determine to cancel play/game due to rain but GWSC will not reschedule the game.
